Review : Holy Reads App

Do you ever wish that you could glean the highlights from a book without committing the time to read it?

Maybe you want to see if you think you are even really interested in a book, and hearing the highlights might be just the thing you are looking for.

The Holy Reads App is fun app that will allow exactly that! You can look through books before you buy them – they will give you a synopsis of the highlights – chapter by chapter if you want. Or if you want a broad summary or overview that is an option too.

There are categories that include : Apologetics, Bible Studies, Evangelism, marriage, men or women, Leadership, Worship and many more.

You can read the reviews or even listen to them (my favorite) – and several have a video option as well!

This is a great tool for ministry leaders, for avid readers or for a discerning reader!

If you want to check it out here is a 10 day free trial link: https://bit.ly/HolyReadsBloggers

Here is a little demo of the App and what you get to see & do.

Review : Julie Elias

There is something about listening to praise and worship music. It seems to get my focus off of me and my issues, and back onto the Lord. Whenever I listen to Praise and Worship music my spirits seems to rise and my attitude improves! So often the music speaks to my soul and sets things right in my head.

Julie Elias is a new to me singer, and I really like her music! Here is a video of one of her new songs:

I loved reading about Julie, here is a quick blurb….

None of us know the plans God has for us. No statement had ever been more accurate than in March 2020 before the world changed forever. With the COVID-19 pandemic, so many of us experienced prolonged isolation like we never imagined.  As weeks turned into months and – for some – into years, our isolation led to loss. We all grieved the loss of loved ones, relationships, time and memories we would never have. For some, the pandemic was a time of reflection, maybe re-evaluation.  For others, it was a time to get household projects done, bond with family and enjoy a simpler life. And for others, it was a time of utter heartbreak. No matter what the experience, for everyone it was a time of change.

To read more check out her full bio, and the story behind each song —> HERE.

So check out her new album, I think you will find her songs are going to point you back to the Lord and His Goodness and His LOVE.

NOTE: These thoughts are my own. I was offered a digital link to the album in exchange for my honest thoughts & opinions.

Review : Ameo Silver Products

I love choosing natural solutions in my home to eliminate more and more toxic substances!

Sometimes it is confusing about what is really natural and safe and what has been “green-washed” meaning that they label as clean and safe, but include ingredients that are not either.

Ameo is a company that is committed to products that are safe for the family! Their mission states : “Our mission at Ameo Life is to produce amazing natural products to promote care for the body using only the cleanest ingredients, free of chemicals, toxins or any harmful substances.”

I was able to check out a few of their items : a bar of their soap, their silver gel and their multi-vitamins.

First I will say I am super impressed by their multivitimins. The ingredient list is amazing – these minerals are all so vital to our health!! I have been taking them and am interested to see how I feel after two weeks and four weeks!

The next product was their silver gel, which I applied after planting some pumpkin plants in our dry as hades dirt, giving myself a nice blister on my hand! It was very soothing and I could tell helped speed my recovery time! My daughter used the silver gel on her face to help fight her teen-acne prone skin!

I received a bottle of their Silver Solution as well. This is recommended to take daily for improved digestion, immune support and overall gut health. We have pretty healthy guts around here, but I am going to keep this handy for when anyone is dealing with gut issues like indigestion, upset stomach and other normal issues. I think it might be good for my teen too, since she has a quest stomach often.

And lastly I received a bar of their soap. I plan to keep this in my first aid area and when we are dealing with rashes or other skin issues to pull it out and use it to help treat those areas!

I am overall super impressed with Ameo Life and their products! I look forward to restocking these items and trying their others as well!
